Another film from LA Mostra 2017 that was made available to film lovers anywhere. I feel happy that even here I can be close to one of the major festivals of the world.
This is about an old man working in a morgue. He has a good memory, but cannot remember names. Consequently all characters don't have names in this film. After demonstrations in the city, the military raids the morgue to dump shot protesters there. They threaten the old man to be silent.
Later the military fetches the corpses, but they forget one. The old man wants to give her a proper burial.
The film passes very slowly. The old man walking from one place to another, waiting and watching. There is an additional level of magic realism that includes a flying whale.
